Beaver Creek's Luxury Lifestyle Festival set for Sept. 14-15

Indulge in the finer things in life at Beaver Creek's Luxury Lifestyle Festival presented by Mountain Living Magazine Sept. 14-15. The festival features a luxury car show, home tour, fashion show and culinary exploration, and offers a taste of elegance and opulence in picturesque Beaver Creek Village.

The festival gets underway on Friday evening at 5 p.m. with a free culinary demonstration on the plaza followed by a wine and tapas social event at The Metropolitan in Beaver Creek Village from 6 p.m. – 8p.m. Tickets for the wine and tapas social are $45 per person and may be purchased at www.beavercreek.com. Saturday's Luxury Concours d'Elegance Auto Show is a festival highlight exhibiting the most luxurious cars on the market and in private garages, including a new 2013 Audi R8 and a privately owned 2005 Bentley Continental GT. Car enthusiasts can stroll through the Beaver Creek Village Plaza at their leisure, visiting with car owners and learning about new models and features from dealer representatives from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For those living vicariously through the Luxury Concours d'Elegance, you can vote for your favorite car in the lineup in the Luxury Car Show People's Choice Competition and the Best of Show winner along with 1st and 2nd runners up will be awarded at the Luxury Lifestyle Showcase at 4 p.m. Winners will be awarded accolades, a prize package and event trophy. To vote, guests may purchase two voting tokens for $1 and are encouraged to vote as often as they would like. All proceeds from the vote will be donated to the Roundup River Ranch, benefitting children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

Recognized for having some of the finest architectural design and interior decoration in the Vail Valley, the Beaver Creek Home Tour provides a look into some of the finest homes in Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch. Tours will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, departing by shuttle from the Vilar Performing Arts Center. The Home Tour is $15 per person and reservations are strongly encouraged to reserve your spot. All Home Tour proceeds benefit the Habitat for Humanity of Eagle & Lake Counties.

Throughout the day on Saturday the Mountain Living Luxury Lifestyle Showcase will take place on the ice rink and includes a Patio Party with music hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, Fashion Show Preview hosted by local luxury retailers Mistral and Avalon culminating with the Luxury Lounge and Fashion Show from 4-6 p.m. The Fashion Show will highlight the latest trends in après-to-evening attire for women and men including high end après- ski attire and furs. The Luxury Lifestyle is free and open to the public and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and a cash bar will be available.

From noon to 2 p.m. art and wine connoisseurs can embark on the Wine Tasting Gallery Stroll, exploring Beaver Creek's art and jewelry galleries while sipping on fine wine. Wander through the C. Anthony Gallery and discover modern and abstract landscapes by local artists or stop by The Vickers Collection for some of the region's most eclectic contemporary fine art. Tickets are $50 per person.

Beaver Creek's complimentary culinary demonstrations also will take place at select times on Friday and Saturday on the plaza in Beaver Creek Village. Sample culinary favorites from local chefs in and around Beaver Creek.
