Responding to audience feedback, Colorado Public Radio (CPR) today is changing the schedule for KPRE 89.9 FM, which airs CPR programming for residents of the Vail Valley.

Here's the gist of press release from CPR last week:

As part of CPR's efforts to maintain and improve the quality of our service, we continually evaluate audience feedback. In response to listener input for 89.9 FM in particular, CPR created the following new schedule for the station, which goes into effect this coming Monday, Sept. 13:

Mon-Fri, 4am - 8pm; Sat-Sun 6am - 8pm CPR In-Depth News: Programming from NPR and the BBC, along with in-depth coverage of Colorado issues with timely news features and interviews on Colorado Matters.

Mon-Sun, overnight starting at 8pm CPR Classical Music: Colorado's classical music community and memorable performances of classical greats.

This new schedule gives Vail-area listeners access to both news and classical music programming, while enhancing news coverage throughout the day.

Listeners can access either program stream at any time on www.CPR.org.
