The Understories by Tom Boyd

Tom Tom is a born and bred Vail local. His father, Steve, was assistant head of ski patrol at Aspen Highlands in the late 1950s and early 60s before he was recruited to patrol at Vail in 1963. His mother was town librarian at the Vail Public Library, and his brother, Steve, and sister, Caitlin, both still live in the Valley with their families.

His writing can be found in various publications throughout the Mountain West.
