Gourmet on Gore, presented by Cadillac, will return to Vail Village for the seventh year over Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 31 – Sept. 3, 2012. The 2012 event will include a number of new events, expanding the programming for Gourmet on Gore and making the event bigger and better than ever before.

Gourmet on Gore will kick off on Friday evening with the Gourmet on Gore Tasting Tour from 6-9 p.m. A benefit for Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake Counties, tickets for the Gourmet on Gore Tasting tour are just $90. Valued at more than $100, it's a great opportunity to taste pairings from some of Vail's best culinary talent in Vail's hottest restaurants and galleries, all while supporting a great cause. Ticketing information and details on the restaurants, galleries and beverage brands participating in the Gourmet on Gore Tasting Tour can be found at www.gourmetongore.com.
Gourmet on Gore continues Saturday, Sunday and Monday with the main event, the three-day Open-Air Tasting, which takes place along Vail's Gore Creek Drive and Bridge Street and showcases the Vail Valley's premier restaurants as well as wines, beers and spirits from around the world. Live music, delicious food and superb drinks all meet together during this special event to create a delightful epicurean atmosphere in Vail Village. There is no cost for admission to Gourmet on Gore's Open-Air Tasting, and the event is open to the public. New this year, the Cadillac Culinary Series will showcase live demonstrations throughout the open-air tasting from some of Vail's best chefs, sommeliers and mixologists.
