Vail Valley native Oshi Gardarian has been hired as a Design Associate for the company.

A graduate of Colorado State University where she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Human Sciences in Interior Design, Gardarian interned at Slifer Designs throughout college, during which time she was also honored by the American Society of Interior Designers with an award for her model building.

An outdoors enthusiast who enjoys skiing, hiking, river sports and camping, Gardarian’s interests in these areas have inspired a particular passion for Biophilic interior design, which creates visual and physical connections with the outdoors by incorporating natural materials or those that mimic nature and natural forms into design projects and features.

Headquartered in the Vail Valley and founded 29 years ago, this family-owned and Colorado-based company is an award-winning interior design and home furnishings retailer. Slifer Designs’ interior designers work closely with each client to create spaces that reflect each one’s lifestyle and budget.

Its retail store and interior design services provide homeowners and shoppers with a full range of value-added services. These include complimentary, in-store or in-home design consultations and off the floor, same-day purchase or custom order options. Visit www.sliferdesigns.com or call 970.926.8200 for more information.
